Each Armor Gold Cable has a mesh outer layer that offers an extra layer of protection. This high tech polymer mesh, which is often used in industrial and aerospace applications, keeps the cord from damage that comes from stretching, pinching, bending, slicing, kinking and general wear and tear.
- Two layers of heat shrink. The first layer covers the plug, providing strain relief to the cable and keeping the plug body intact and stable. The second layer prevents the first from cracking or slipping giving the plug a softer grip.
- Created with 20 gauge, 41 strand oxygen free copper conductor Enables flexibility, strength and medium-low capacitance. Oxygen free copper delivers a pure signal.
- PVC Outer Jacket Our cables have a thick PVC outer jacket that provides protection and enables easier handling.
- 95% spiral wound copper shield provides extra protection against outside interference while maintaining flexibility.
- Conductive PVC layer educes handling noise and provide extra protection against outside interference.
